Big Dippers

Big-Dippers-PhotoKids love these and they’re easy to make, so they’re the perfect start to the holiday treat-making season!


  • 2 8-oz. packages semisweet-chocolate squares
  • 12 (8” long) baked pretzel rods
  • toppings:  chopped nuts, coconut, sprinkles, mini-peanut butter pieces


  1. Place toppings on waxed paper.
  2. Melt chocolate.
  3. Spoon or dip pretzel in chocolate, leaving a few inches not coated at one end.
  4. Immediately sprinkle coated pretzel with choice of toping.
  5. Lean pretzels on not coated edge and refrigerate until coating is set.
  6. A second coat can be applied with a different choice of topping if desired.
